CD-PRODUCTION

Do opera singers today require a solo-CD?

Competition among opera singers is becoming increasingly tough. The number of singers is increasing, whereas the recording opportunities are becoming more scarce. As a result of the subsequent "surplus", it is becoming increasingly rarer for opera singers to be offered the chance to produce a CD.

The new label CLASS-X PLUS offers you the chance to produce your own CD with arias and songs. These CDs will then be distributed in 25 "classical music countries".

The solo CD with arias and songs combined with a PR campaign helps:
to increase the profile of the artist in Europe and the USA, to target opera houses, festivals, CD producers and opera magazines and to provide them with current information on a regular basis and thereby increase the likelihood that the artist will be offered a greater number of engagements.

In the booklet accompanying the solo CD, the artists curriculum vitae will be presented in German, English, French and Italian, as will a calendar of their coming engagements, which will be updated every 1-1/2 to 2 years.

A further important point regarding the production of a solo-CD is that it may be possible for you to receive tax benefits in your own country. For further details please consult your accountant.
